We have to be in Malibu next month for a wedding, and my five year old is the flower girl.
We live in Virginia, so it’s going to be a bitc h to get out there. We might as well make the best of it, and give my daughter a chance to get used to the time change so she’s not a disaster at the ceremony. So we’re planning of flying into San Francisco for a day or so, then a day at Yosemite, a day at Sequoia, (probably stay in Fresno?), then get to Calabasas for the rehearsal and wedding. Anything else we should try to do? Is this too much to try to fit in with a 3 and 5 year old?

Are you suggesting commuting from Fresno to Yosemite and Sequoia? That's gonna be kinda a long drive each day but it's bearable I guess. You are giving enough time for sure but keep an eye on road closures due to snow. Should be clear enough on the west side of the Sierras but who knows. That should be enough to pack into that trip as described. High chance of flowers blooming in Malibu in the next month or so, could be worth exploring around a bit for that when you get there. Calabasas wedding, must be fancy! I'm in woodland Hills so I'm right next door to there, let me know if you want any more specific advice about the area!

No, the plan is leave afternoon/even from San Francisco to Mariposa, crash that night and hit Yosemite the next day. Then leave Yosemite, crash in Fresno, hit Sequoia next day.
Thanks, I night hit you up if I got questions as we get closer!

I saw big Sur, and I wasn't sure. We were coming down more inland, but would bug Sur be worth adding an extra day?

It’s a great drive and views, not sure I would add an extra day for it.
